A skull, a pelvis, some vertebrae—warmly familiar ivory tones and archetypal shapes resonating deep in our memories. Looking closer, the shapes lack the sharp edges of bone. They are fibrous and irresistibly tangible.
Recently I was invited to a private behind the scenes networking and info event for artists and designers at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. It was a really wonderful event that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think there are some really cool things that people may not know about this wonderful space so I thought I would share a few of them.
