Artist Name – Sandra Tin Thiri
Artist Sandra Tin Thiri has a great passion of painting since she was (7) years of age. She did many paintings which remind people to see and appreciate simple beauty and serenity of the world. The art works can reflect the artist’s soul and inner thought combined with a born- intellect in seeing the beauty of diverse ethnic people, culture, tradition, lifestyle and nature. Sometimes they can also reflect the deeper part of nurturing process of nature and life itself.
Sandra mostly uses small painting knives as her painting brushes which give the artist more freedom and expressive quoting with artist’s own words; “My painting knives are my fingers and they attached to my body and soul”.
Based on the experience, credentials and background works/contributions as a medical doctor and health care project manager, she got Lee Kwan Yew fellow at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government, Massachusetts, USA in 2008. She graduated Master in Public Management and currently is pursuing her PhD in Health Administration at Walden University.
The artist usually involves actively in most of the non-profit organizations concerning with health and life style modification as well as in art related activities.
