10 Essential Podcasts for Artists

Ten-essential-podcasts-for-artists-by-holly-van-hart

Want to learn more about building a successful art career, but don’t have the time? If you’re anything like me, you’d rather be making art than studying up on the business of art.

Now, with podcasts, we can do both at the same time.  These 10 essential podcasts will teach you how internationally recognized artists are managing their marketing, sales, and relationships with galleries.

To help you navigate even more effectively, many also offer perspectives from museum curators, gallerists, critics, and other art business professionals.

Some of the best things to be learned about how to run a business come from successful entrepreneurs outside of the art world. Some of these podcasts focus on pure business.

To learn what works, what doesn’t, and how to take your career to the next level, check out these 10 essential podcasts –

What a great list! I love the Savvy Painter podcast, but haven’t listened to most of the others – excited to check them out. I’ve also heard that Artists Helping Artists has a good podcast/radio show: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/artistshelpingartists
